Hi there . I'm James from Ireland I currently have a 939sp I bought new in 2016 before that I had an S1000rr , superduke , 2 x r1s but I really think I would like an 1199s so I thought it would be good to join up here as I will most likely end up buying in U.K. As there were very few sold new in IRE and already I've found some really useful info on this site. Looking forward to learning from the experts .

Last time i saw a mk2 being driven in anger was back in 2007,when simon mauger won the 25th rally in jersey...boy could he pedal (i was supporting a friend on the mechanics side with another vehicle) pictures please
Hiya James and welcome. I bet you're not as 'Deep South' as me? Schull. I presume that was the West Cork Rally, how did you get on? Don't forget if you get a bike from the UK make sure it has >6000km (3729 miles) or them nasty fellas at the Revenue will be wanting you to pay the full VAT on the full list price. Enjoy the forum.

Nice part of the country. Not the west Cork it was a local track , yes thanks for the heads i imported a car recently and the guy in front of me was being hit with vat on a car that was 8 yrs old but only had 3 k on it ouch !!
