Hi Guys n Gals... Just thought I'd say hi having registered on the site.... The ol' trout and I are from Cheshire - I ride an ST3S, whilst she rides a Yam at the moment.... Try to get out as much as we can around Cheshire, North Wales and the Peak District - hope to see some of you sometime... Ride safely, but remember it's better to be scared to death than bored to death !!! Dave
Hi Dave, nice to hear from another ST3 owner. Mines not the s version though, but I do have a big grin on my face whenever I get out on her. My better half has a 600 Monster waiting for her to pass her test!
Hi Archer....I know what you mean - after I'd had a succession of Hondas, my first Duke put a grin from ear to ear on my face !!!1. The handelbars shook, the bike shook, it felt like a roaring dragon, but boy I had to get me one of them !!! (and I did, and I've never looked back). I used to have an S4R (sob sob sob) which the ol' trout rode...she loved it
I rode the Monster home for Nicky and that got me hooked. Had to wait to find the right bike for me as I'm 50 and a bit creaky, but when we went to Oxford to test the 3 well that was it! I took it out first and Nicky waited, and worried that I'd hate it! The smile when I took my lid off said it all. We then went out together and she could see why, the way she "talks" to you when you're riding is just magical. Can't wait for summer ( if we get one!) to put some more miles on her! Chris
Evening Dave im hoping to join the monster brigade Welcome to the forum Watch out for the yokels I'm mean locals My SS made me grin from ear to ear
Butch, we have chatted about this and will be in touch. She needs to do the whole lot again as her CBT has lapsed now, but we need to get some money together first as she's been of work for 3 months!
Booo hooo - stop talking about monsters - I'll never forgive myself for selling my beloved S4R...sniff sniff
Slightly to the left, but I'm not sure I should tell anyone that as apparently it means something !!!!
