Just bought a 1994 900ss, lots of history in decent nick. My first duke, but have ridden on the road for nearly 28 years and owned numerous bikes. I have to be honest and can now say I completely understand why these bikes are so loved. I can't stop giggling when I'm riding mine. Found a local dealer who seem pretty decent at G tec in market harborough. Need to sort out floppy mirrors short of Viagra I think they need junking and replacing, any recommendations? Cheers guys
Hi there and welcome aboard The floppy mirrors can be tightened up, if you take them off, theres a phillips head self tapper that should tighten the whole assembly up. Failing that mini mirrors from halfords
And........you can take an M4 or M5 (I think that's what I used) and tap the stem, and then use an appropriate bolt rather than the daft self tapper. AL
Bloody wobbly mirrors Great bikes hello and welcome to the wonderful world of Ducati and their quirks
Welcome Baldyboy a good buy the 900 is real hoot to ride. There is not a lot to go wrong with them and if anything does there is a wealth of knowledge on the forum.
