Hi everyone Had a Ducati for 11 years.S4rs Gone mad and bought a 1200r So far it's great and will never part with it. Rode back from London to Cornwall last week. Brilliant on fuel. Week on now every day for work 40 miles round trip. I'll use this one every day till winter breaks and then use a winter back.

Hi & welcome. I have an S4R and am thinking about getting a 1200 or 1200s. I appreciate they are not quite like for like but what are the best and worst things in your opinion about the new bike compared with the old ? Its not like I ever get off my S4R and think its a bit slow, boring or anything like that so good to get the opinion of someone who has had one too.
