Hi everyone! New to the forum and a very lucky chap to be living on the IOM. I have an 08 Hyper 1100 with a 22l tank and termi slip ons fitted - love the little machine! Looking forward to some good banter on the forum. if people are travelling to the Island, more than happy to meeto up for a ride of the famous 'Course! Stevie
I'm not the fastest - although I'm no slouch! Sorry eyore, I have about 11 people coming over next year to my 3 bed house, so garden is already full of tents! However, if you are serious about coming I can look into house-share and accomodation for you
Thanks Stevie, only messing , but I am going and have a house share booked in Peel, so can't wait.
Hi Stevie, what a place to live. Great place to be riding the hypermotard. I too am new to the site, also new to Ducati ownership. What a fun bike. I have a question regarding the 22 ltr tank, does it alter the shape of the bike? I'm aware that they are available but I've no idea of how it fits or if it alters the body work shape. All the best Gav
i can help you with that mate. the tank doesn't alter the bodywork but you do away with the stock air box which is really really restrictive anyway and replace that with pod filters instead I believe. itll breathe better although with the 22ltr I don't think you can use the velocity stacks or wasp puks but I might be wrong. Hi Mate - no the shape isn't altered - the tank (from sandbar composites) fills the airbox, and comes with a performance air filter. it all fits under the tank/seak and you can't notice it. tank range 190 - 220 miles (depending on the right wrist!)
