Good afternoon all from NZ After not having a ducati for a decade I've grabbed an 848 that was too tempting to resist. Presently it is sitting behind the couch in my lounge because I have nowhere to store it and also I find myself right in the middle of a tremendously wet Wellington winter so not a lot of hope to be out on it much soon. Looking forward to browsing through all the forums and hopefully finding a few tips on how to get the most out of my bike. Only taken a couple of short rides so far and I definitely think; 1) new footpegs oem ones are super slippy - so either some nasty ebay ones I guess.. 2) down a tooth on the front sprocket 3) and really feels like I need to soften it up somewhat for my 73kg weight (160 in your currency) so hopefully the stock fork internals can be made to work for me without needing new springs.. 4) how to get the rear brake lever a little lower despite being at the end of adjustment. need a shorter pushrod thingee it seems.. maybe grind it down perhaps.. anyways, I'll do some reading and see what the thoughts are on it all Loving it so far anyways. Actually feels similar in ride position to the 1998 900SS I had a long time ago - but goes like a scalded cat in comparison. Cheers for reading. Ben

From West Auckland but I live in London now. Been to Wellington a few times though. To be fair it was always sunny the times I went. My favorite thing in Wellington is probably the britton on display in te papa
