Hi from peterborough, building a "streetracer"

  1. It's good to get back into (onto?) a Ducati again after a few years away. I started the Peterborough branch of the Ducati Owners Club in the early ninties after a few years racing a Saxon Ducati - finally in the Battle of The Twins. I like unfaired bikes on the road and wanted to build something like the Made in Metal Monster which I would describe as a cross between a Cafe Racer and a Street fighter - hence my title. I have already seen some great project bikes on this forum - always good for getting ideas.
Almost forgot! My project is an ST2 - I have already cut the rear frame and I am just remodelling the seat/tuning the riding position. May put some pictures up when I get time. John
