  1. Hey all

Ive been on the forum a bit now ans had my first larger bike for about 6 months now.
Ive been on a few rides with some friends but a lot of them are busy all the time or just hard to get out. As ive only been in the uk a short time I dont know a lot of people.

My bike is not amazing and hard to keep clean so dirty half the time so nothing great but it rides well and I have fun.

I would love to see who is near me and if any of you ever do evening or weekend few hour rides together or are wanting to.

It is hard with any larger events as I have family commitments but I would love to get out on a once a month or twice a month basis and have a nice few hour ride.

Anyone already meeting up in the south? Anyone wanting to get out and do some rides?

    Thanks

    Bart

  2. keep an eye out on the Events section plenty going on - Nelsons Diner near Newbury is often a destination on ride outs

    Welcome btw

  3. Hi and welcome.

Not based in the South myself but you'll find that we're all a pretty friendly bunch

  9. Hello and welcome! Nice avatar Nelson!

  10. Welcome to the forum salmore. I reckon we should do an Ace caff run one weekend, I likes playing with traffic:upyeah:

  11. Hello and welcome . Nelson, very good. Made me smile :upyeah:

  12. Thank you all. I would love to do a ride at some point. As long as I don't get criticised for my dirty bike... i'm so tired of keeping it clean in this weather.. especially since I commute daily to work on it.

  13. Hi Bart, While there are some obsessive polishers in the Ducati community, who spend longer cleaning their bikes than riding them, we're not all like that. (At least I'm not!) I also commute on my Ducati, and when I rode it to World Ducati Week last year, I reckoned it was the 2nd grubbiest bike there (after the one that had done over 100,000 km around the world, on one of the displays)!

  14. Stuff the UK, let's go to the Bol D'Or and get smashed!

  15. Does any of you know a good, large motorcycle parts / accessories store or stores around Reading area or within say 20-30 miles radius? I would love to pop in now and again, looking for a store to get some new brake pads as mine are worn out... I've found some on ebay, but i'd like to go into a store and see them compare and maybe get something else while at it ;) closest store I've found was all the way east 100 miles!? anyone know the area?

    Thanks!

  16. or! Anyone wanna meet up and take me to a couple one evening / next weekend, would be nice to meet some of you.

  17. Hi Bart & welcome. There is a great bike meet in Poole Dorset every Tuesday. Maybe see you there sometime?

  18. Welcome. If you do I'll come along. Be nice to meet you to finally meet Fig who actually only lives about 25 yards from me!!!

  19. Just let me know when works? I have family commitments but one Saturday morning I would be more than happy to, maybe the 2nd of March? I would prefer morning, let me know if that works.
