  1. As above and so pleased with the bike so far.
This will be my fourth Ducati in sixteen years and after my 1098s I can't believe how easyit is to get on with.
Got the comfort seat and have done 412 miles this weekend on a Ducati! Wow, thing of dreams years ago.
Only querie is it cut out at 103 on the temp gauge while clutching in to slow down at a junction? Is this normal or a one off ?
Bike started fine again with only a second or two of cranking the starter.
So once again Hi to everyone.

  3. Hello and welcome :)

  4. Cutting out thing happens to mine occasionally but seemed to improve with miles (not that I've done many)
    And Hi

  5. Alright Dave? :)

  6. welcome!

  7. Hello and welcome :)

  8. Hello! Ran my (second) 1199s in for 4000 miles over the last three weeks :) I've had it cut out in similar circumstances once or twice so I wouldn't worry about it. I dont think it's anything to do with the temp ( mine went to 112 in Naples last week whilst waiting at the longest red mountain traffic light in the universe without any issues ). Many types of engine conk out once in a while when you come off load in that way.

  9. Hi and thanks for the greetings.
With regards to Royalwithcream's reply thanks again that's good to know it does happen on the odd occasion.
My worry was that it would become a problem as it was with an 1098 s I had a few years ago which would cut out on down shifts for corners and leave me rolling with no drive to exit the corner! Very scary.
All run in now and with Pro Twins in Godstone for its first serice.

  10. Gang? A somewhat disjointed Family maybe...

  11. Welcome to the forum :)

  12. Hi Beno, yeah can't agree more, having had a couple of years away from bikes, I
Bought a 1098s about 18 months ago & liked it but scared myself a couple of times,
Going from Fireblades to v-twins I found hard ( had a 999s back in 05) but then a lot
Of my Pals were going over to Adventure Bikes so 6 months ago decided to buy a
    Multistrada.
Really enjoyed riding it, but found it a bit like having a Fat Bird ( a Good Ride, but a bit
Ugly) just didn't look forward to opening the Garage Door.
So I've now bit the Bullit & purchased a year old Panigale R, can't believe how nice
It is to ride & now get proper Excited when I lift that Garage Door
