2002 900ss ie All done and back in its new style but got an issue with running rich and sooting the plugs, any help or pointers would be good
Uprated coils stopped my SS from fouling plugs. I had to import mine from the US at great expense but @Exige on here is now the importer, so can supply them from the UK.
It's got the fattest spark I have ever seen on a bike but just ordered plugs eng oil and filter to start with. It just runs so rich and won't tic over it's ok at WOT but if you try to hold it at a steady rpm it hope pops and skips and when you pull the plugs they are black sooty.

The bin was pivotal in the painting process as I used the black one for prima and grey one for the black lol
I had a carby so can’t help much with your ie. is it the same if you take the filter out?? Do you have the same airbox arrangement as the carby with a pair of snorkels at the front? Does it have a choke or is the mixture completely controlled by an ecu?
