Hi In 2011, I bought one of the first Diavels in the country. Loved that bike. Now, at 68, I’m looking for my second Ducati - a Multistrada 950S - and hoping to join the Ducatisti again. I currently own a Harley Softail Street Bob FXBB and a KTM 790 Duke fitted with K-Tech suspension front and rear. The KTM will have to go, however, to help pay for the 950S! Cheers

Depends on your needs I'd say. The 950s is a great bike, for two up touring with luggage though the 1260 would be a better choice IMHO. Don't think that the 950 is much, if at all, lighter that the 1260.
233kg vs 207kg, according to MCN... They're always right, aren't they? The reviews I've read suggest there's little real world difference in acceleration up to around 110mph. I don't intend going that fast that often. As for pillion, my wife loves the Harley and isn't interested in going on any other bikes, so the Multistrada will be all mine!

I get that occasionally, it's down to your IP address and the data that the site software uses to geolocate it. There can be errors in the data, or your Internet Service Provider uses a point of presence outside of the UK (rare these days) or you're using a VPN?
Great choice, I have a Multistrada and a Harley too, so if in the future you ever have a wobble and think about selling the Multistrada you just ride the Harley for an hour then you realise how superb the Multistrada is LOL, welcome!
