Hello I,m just signed up to the forum after admiring Ducati's for a long time. I've currently got a Honda CB 1300S , which I don't think I'll get rid of , just seems to remind me of my youth of big Jap 4's. I recently visited the NEC November Show, and the only brand which caught my attention with new bikes was the Ducati stand. I plan to keep the CB 1300S, but am seriously looking to get a demo ride on either the 798 Monster (which might be too so liar to the CB1300S - in terms of being a road bike etc - my heart wants a 848 - purely for the better Summer dry months riding - I'm 58 years young and need to own a classic sports motorcycle in my lifetime. I'll probably source the forum for info, but I'm set on getting a Ducati for those classic summer days riding. Regards Denis

Hello and welcome. Why don't you book a test on the 848 and the Monster ( and an 848 Streetfighter?)? and see if any of them float your boat. I don't think. You will find any of them are similar to your CB1300!
