Hello Thanks for having me, I have been reading some threads and looking forward to more. To avoid the obvious advice I wont mention my experience level, but I have fallen in love with a 2013 Ducati Multistrada 1200, im pretty sure it isnt an “S” or tourer or anything special, but it is beautiful, I have left a deposit and will collect Friday, just before I part with the bulk of the money I thought I would ask here if im not making a huge mistake buying this particular model, im not 100% but dont think it has the clever suspension. I have been riding a V-strom 1000 so I think the size will be fine (6’2” fat git) I dont care about hyper performance, I will be commuting daily on it in all weather. Also look for any excuse to ride, country roads, motorways, lots of trafficky stuff. Good idea? Thanks
Prepare for some stick from some members here. Your appreciation of the multi will not go unnoticed! Good choice of bike, I think you’ be very happy! Welcome to the forum from a fellow multi owner.
Thanks for the welcomes Oh dear Carr, I had better not mention its silver then? even the fella that sold me it said Ducatis should be red hehe
There's nothing a spray can can't fix there! Welcome to the forum. ps. Yellow is also acceptable - on the right bike.
Thanks not sure what the "Bin" thing is? May I ask how I leave a "funny" or a "like" on a post please, some posts have had me belly laughing but can't find the button? Thanks
Bit weird, my insurance company (bennetts) wouldnt insure me Went through compare website and quotes we £650 then £2000 upto £4000, went third party f&t and paid £250, I accept quotes can differ but by that much? Seems crazy to me
