  2. Sorry to hear you are thinking of parting ways, lovely bike that.
I found a huge love for mine on the recent forum trip, up round the twists in Luxembourg the bike was so much fun,
How do you get your rear sets on to race shift...

  3. Undo the 10mm bolt holding it on to the selector shaft, slide off, spin it 180 degrees and it’s swapped to road/race shift

I love the bike, just not the road anymore. Thinking of building a 90’s bike for track, early R1 maybe.

    • Thanks Thanks x 1
  4. Thanks bud.
I think I'd be inclined to sell close to standard. The asking price for a well modded bike like that will push upwards of a new 950sp. Standard bike as well kept as yours will still fetch good money and the aftermarket bits will sell easy

  5. Always sell standard and offer the bits as extras

  6. New 950sp is 14,695 (just in Ducati at moment)

Probably let mine go for 13.5k as is ono

  7. Stunning looking bike.... I'm in the market but slightly out of my price range and too close to 950 money as it stands.... I don't think with some of the smaller upgrades it makes a big difference in price, just makes it more attractive amongst standard ones. The expensive parts will influence the price but realistically by around half the cost or there value.... It's always a lottery when adding expensive upgraded parts for this very reason. I've always removed anything that's of good value and recouped some money back, but left on some smaller value goodies to make it attractive to sell.... What ever way you decide good luck as it looks like a cracking well sorted Hyper.....

  8. Or you can sell fully modded and when they try to chip you down, you can start removing goodies.

  9. ^^^^

Seriously, I’ve done this before. It works quite well. And saves you the faff of swapping everything back then selling all the bits individually.

I would guess based on the above(also has some extras included in the asking price)your bike should worth up to £9000 with all the extras removed.
Add up the price of extra items you fitted to the bike, then discount 50% devaluation from this price.(maybe less on teh wheels)
You could advertise the bike with two price option.
    1 returned to stock.
    2 including all extra items.

    I sold my 15' R1 within 1 day to a fellow R1 forum member.
Worked out the stock price £10000 + added 1/2 the price of the extra items I added to the bike, ended up at £12500.

  11. I was having the same dilemma when selling my Desert Sled recently, in the end I advertised it fully modded and I think I got a good price.... £8500, then I sold all the original bits for another £250. New bike is only about £9400.
The other added bonus is that you don't have to muck around removing all the parts - not so much fun as putting them on! IMG_5032.jpg DGcGgLzmTO2oMYWL%r4+vA.jpg

  12. I like that. Yeah can’t be arsed taking them all off,I’ll take wheels, switches and a few other bits off if I have to. What have you replaced it with ?

  13. Hyper 950SP naturally!!!

  14. Sell you some nice gold wheels for it lol

  15. That might not be so much of a lol...... Will they defo fit the 950SP? and just as important, what are you looking for?

  16. Yes,I was looking at getting a 950sp myself so Ducati Preston checked they would fit. I’d want £1250 for them, they have done about 150 miles and was £1700 new

  17. Well, here it is, my dream bike with all the mods that I'd love to do to a 939......... damn I wish I had the money.
