I'm surprised no-one has brought this up since the latest report was published, but I know this has always been (rightly) an emotive issue for people affected. Down here in the South, it was easy to believe the official line, and speaking personally, I swallowed the story, hook, line and sinker. I'd like to apologise to anyone affected. The establishment really let you down and mislead the rest of us.
This also begs the question "What else is/has been covered up by the establishment?" because we all suspect/know it goes on.
There are loads of conspiracy theories out there, about all kinds of issues. Most of them are not true, but this one (police conspiring to conceal culpability over Hillsborough) was true. Just shows we need to keep an open mind, and not jump to premature conclusions - in either direction.
I sat and listened to the findings and thought that the people that changed the statements must be held accountable. Then I realised that most of them would of prob retired by now which just seems rather convenient. Why was this not investigated sooner??????????????
The true Liverpool supporters knew this all along but were disbelieved and ridiculed for so long, so pleased the true story of events has come out. Steve
My cousin was in the crowd at Hillsborough. He was in the seated area above the crush but as you can imagine he still carries that day with him
