Hi everyone. 1st post here, go easy I've just had my 2015 Multistrada 1200s remapped by Hilltop motorcycles in England. Cost was £360. Some background, I have a termignoni stubby carbon end can and recently removed the cat. Yes it's loud, very loud. I've fitted a muffler in the decat pipe just before the slip on which has reduced some of the noise but its still not right. Some decision making to do, longer end can with a baffle probably. The reason I mention the exhaust is it effected the Dyno run Im sure. Anyway, numbers BHP went from 124 to 126. My max torque went from 74 ft/lb @ 8074rpm to 83 ft/lb @ 3927rpm. The low end is much much smoother and far quicker to get up and go, no surging anymore a more even power delivery. I did just over 700 miles on the bike yesterday for this and also noticed a big difference in fuel economy, I'm getting 30 miles more to a tank. Either the remap is to thank or the wind was behind me and I was going downhill the entire time.
Hilltop Hoods were one of my favourite bands. I didn’t know they’d had such a radical change of directions!
Red/brown=before Blue/light blue =after I can explain why BMW owners have their bikes Hilltopped. This is the dyno result of my 2017 GSA. BHP was 100.56 - now 116.75 Max torque was 73.57 - now 87.95 Apart from any figures, it rides so much better. It’s more responsive, and avoids the 30mph built in lull to pass emissions / noise tests.
I had a GS remapped by them, good improvement too, and we talked about my Ducati DVT, and they thought they could improve it, but not by much, he did explain etc. but due to distance to Hill Top from me, it was not worth anymore investigation.
Hi Paul had my 2015 DVT remapped by hilltop today. Arrow works can plus link pipe K&N filter. Figures before and after are exactly the same, but the graph tells a different story, the throttle response is instant and linear with no flat spots, very pleased.
