Right , I've got a cracking set of leathers however they really could do with some venting ......has anyone done this themselves ? Ie using a leather punch or is this courting disaster ....
I have made some vented panels into my set of Crowtree's with a leather punch,it worked fine. I used a block of wood behind the leather inside the lining so i only made holes in the bits i wanted to.
I bought a Castelli string vest thingy t shirt to wear under my leathers. Cycling has a better standard of underlayers than motorcycling does.
String vest? As in one that keeps u warm... Get a cool max liner or edz base layer. U shouldn't need too much venting in this climate if u have a technical baselayer on
I'd normally go out with cycling under layers (under) my one piece... Monday after work was scorching so went out in just me pants... As in just pants under the leathers... Took me half hour & a twisted shoulder to get out of the feckers after the ride..... Note to self, no matter how warm it is outside, put clothes under the leathers..
Its this which is a tad more glamourous than that I normally wear as Hutchy has shown above. I just wear pants under my leather motorcycling trousers. Its easier to get out of a 2 piece.
this is me, in my string vest, that i wear under my tightest leathers.... the kilt is a Draggin Jeans one off, with Kevlar in 'all the right places'.....v cool in summer...
@TT600 Sweeet... In that pic though you look REALLY surprised about something out of shot?? Explain...
I had the deluxe version complete with sporran... problem being it dangled down onto the exhaust & burnt me cock... Daft design really
i just spotted some bastard had chopped me thumbs off...... makes doing 'the lambeth walk' nigh on impossible
Sweet Jesus you lot get a grip I bought an alpine stars cooling vest for Italy - it made me itch , one of those ones you wet the gel
what size does Italy take? must be a large boot shaped one? anyway, i thought the Italians were cool enough already......
