Oh like that :smirk: I'd go for the VTR :smiley: Finding a Blade SP-2 is a pain in the ass for the moment I think. Haven't seen it on the Belgian roads yet...
Many years ago I had an SP1. It was an absolutely storming bike with quite a bit of extra kit on it. The sound was sublime from the high rise Scorpions. The SP2 's I believe are a bit smoother, not that mine was any problem. I sold it for peanuts way back then, around £2k if I remember, and it was mint. Jeez if only I'd have kept hold. Are you going to use it or keep it as an investment. I had an sp2 a few years ago and they don't make good road bikes without a decent amount of money spent on the suspension. My 999s is a much better bike.
Yeah, It was a jokey text, he's not really a Ducati man. He probably diesn't know the difference with a 996SPS and a 998R, hence wanting a straight swap for a 998SPS. He's only joking as he's keeping it and does know the value of a 998R. :Wideyed: Now if someone actually wanted to swap a 998R for an SP-2, I'm sure he'd take their hands off. If I had disposable funds atm, I'd take a look at your 996SPS. No go as i have other priorities going on right now.
