My 2007 VTR1000 SP2 for sale. 8900 miles, full service history, both keys. Nothing needs doing. All history present including original sales invoice from Castle Honda. Fresh Dunlops D212 front and rear. I bought this in May after quite a search. Previous owner was an elderly chap who had owned it since 09/2007. All original, doesn't look like it's ever been dropped or had any paint at all even. I took the plastics off to give it a clean but to be honest it didn't need it. I'm quite fussy and there's no way this is "like new" like some can claim, but it is very good. A few stone chips etc and and some marking where the rear seat panel is fitted but nothing to take away the overall appeal. I can take some more pictures with the plastics on if anyone is interested. Only selling as I've finally realised I'm too old to ride these things! Can't bear to sell the SPS though. £9,000 ovno. Thought I'd try it on here before eBay. Located in Cleethorpes. Cheers, Matt

Last great HRC quality bike. Feels hewn from granite, and their handling is sublime. Worth every penny compared to what else you can find for 9k. GLWTS.

Many years ago I had the SP1. Loved everything about it. Handles awesome, sounds great and goes, looks and stops as well as you could want. The SP2 is a bit more refined and I would love one. This looks like a super example, GLWS Stuart
At the time, for me, it was a toss-up between the SP2 and a 999. I'm glad I went T9 but I still do wonder ... hmm ...
Most 'normal' people can see past the very minor road dirt and would not worry themselves too much over what is clearly a bike that is used. Those who wish only to parade their vehicles in hermetically sealed and sterile environments can look elsewhere.
My house isn't sterile, far from it. My 1098R hasn't been cleaned as I don't like cleaning bikes and lives in the garage in the 'used' bit of it If I wanted top money for a bike it would be pristine if I was taking detail shots. This would help it sell - so you are wrong. My advice was helpful and sincere you worn out old rabbit
