How do I say this? I no longer have my BMW K16, my R1250GSA or my joyous 939SP pensive, I'm down to a one bike garage. But what a bike! Not to everyone's liking I know, but the new slimmer design does provide a little more entertainment when cornering, and I just love all the toys. This is the DCT/Airbag version, so I just need to get on it and ride! Hopefully I will not be cast asunder for this choice
Funny i was looking at them yesterday, they definately have all the toys. Not sure what engine yours has but I think they go up to 1800, again dont know if thats cc or just a spec level.
I once watched Niall McKenzie attacking Craner Curves on an earlier version with the stereo at full chat. It was an awesome sight, and he was actually quicker than quite a few guys on track bikes.
Been on a TD back in the day ZZR full top box and panniers, least the panniers saved his bike when it all went wrong.
Had one of the same on a run with us a few months ago. Noticeably slimmer than the older versions, only thing I thought it was missing was a reverse beeper .
A mate and I did a tour around california some years ago on gold wings, great bikes. When we took them back both bikes had their belly pans scraped both sides from spirited cornering One of these days I will buy one. only disappointment is they seem to have made the luggage capacity smaller from the previous model
The luggage capacity is definitely reduced, but in my particular case 'her indooors' now rides her own machine so that I don't have to carry around the kitchen sink (at least a full one)
