Blistering here......... 31 in my kitchen; 35 in the workshop; 35 outside near the workshop; 38 on my car; 39.5 on the driveway gatepost......... .........little wonder I can't keep up with the external paintwork.... AL.
Forecast here was overcast all day, but we got sun! Been blatting about for a couple of hours and now sparking the bbq up... All good in my hood...
I promised to sweep my landlady's driveway this weekend (she's in her late 80's and the driveway is a couple of hundred yards long), so I got out there at 6.30 this morning. It was still too hot for working, I was sweating like a paedophile in a playground by the time I'd finished:frown:
It's building up for another scorcher here today......already far too hot to stand out in it. Mind you, it doesn't help with a raging toothache as well. AL.
Stick a clove in your gob til you get to the pub. The clove will kill the pain, then the beer will numb your whole head...
Not here in north Devon. 19 c and pissing it down! Paid good money for a week away on hol, the bike is 200 miles away where it's dry and scorching hot:frown:
Look on the bright side,if it was scorching in Devon and the bike was at home it would be much worse, anyway its a grand excuse to get yourself doen the pub for a few pints of Fursty Ferret:tongue:
