how heavy is your ass?.

  1. as in a guess what a bottom end from a 748 is minus the covers/clutch might weigh?......just trying to work out the postage cost for,well,that bloke with the fucked 748 bottom end and stuff....cheers.speno.:upyeah:

I sent an ST2 bottom end (which is basically the same as a 748) by courier to Ireland, but it was minus the side casings, flywheel, alternator, starter motor, sprag, clutch, oil pump etc. so basically just the crankcases and the 'stuff' inside them. IIRC it weighed around 35kg packed in a big cardboard box with plenty of soft packaging.

  8. You might be better sending it via a motorcycle courier. At least it's a flat rate and you know it'll be handled by people that know what it is
