This has probably been asked loads of times before but is the red key that important and what does it do? Ive heard if theres a problem with the ecu this will get it going again??
Red key is for coding the clocks and ECU. Needed for installation of brand new clocks, ECU and keys. All is not lost if you don't have it as there are work arounds. More important is the code card as this allows the immo to be bypassed in an emergency.
