How is Funky?

  1. Has anyone on here been to see Funky or can give us an update on how he is doing? I don't know his real name, just that he was due to go into Nottingham Woodthorpe hospital last week. I know it was a major op so can understand why he hasn't been back on here yet, but could someone local to him pass on our best wishes for a speedy recovery. Chris and Nicky

  4. Yes, the original op was postponed, but he put another message on last week to say it was going ahead (Tuesday I think) so I was hoping someone had heard if he was ok.

  7. In which case, if its anything like mine, will be a good few days maybe a week before he can do much. Think he's single so guess he'll be staying in hospital; no way I could have coped for for 2 weeks post op alone

  9. El T it was a major op on his back, full details in his lounge post "24 hours to surgery". It explains it in full detail, much better than I could.

  12. I remember now - I even posted on it telling him not to worry as I'd had major surgery on my back and all is well now :smile:

  13. I hope they don't do a sense of humor bypass on him while he's in there, cause he's funny n I'm missing his wit.
