1200 How Much For A Service ?

Discussion in 'Multistrada' started by Andybow, Apr 23, 2014.

  1. Does anyone know how much roughly a 7k is? Bike has done 4k but it's up for a service as it's coming up to a year! Does it just require oil, filters etc?

  2. It is oil and filter, possibly brake fluid too, I'd estimate around the £200-£250 mark

  3. Thanks for that!

  4. Oil & filter

  5. My last oil and filter (12 month) was done @ 3500 miles and cost me £160, that was at MotoRapido Ducati but was during winter so winter labour rates.

  6. That was a good price ! I'm going to riders in bridgwater so it should double that!!!! Oh well, at least there miserable!

  7. I was in there today, your bang on about them being miserable!

  8. Aren't they! When I went in to ask about the rear sensor update the guy looked at me like I was shit!

  9. I think he is inaccurate, the DESMO service is the 15k service, the 7.5k is just oil and filter......

    More miles, less maintenance.

The enjoyment of riding, reliability and maximum containment of maintenance costs are among the main criteria that drive every engineering project in Ducati. We have spread out services to intervals of 15,000 miles and on some models the main Desmo Service is not necessary until 18,000 miles. Even the simplest services, the Oil Service, have been spaced out to 7,500 miles or 9,000 miles, values that represent an absolute reference for high performance engines.
Furthermore, Ducati continuously invests in the technical training of its dealership staff: only through the Official Ducati Service network will you find the skills and tools needed to carry out all those fundamental procedures that will ensure your Ducati continues to perform at the highest level.
Remember that the documentation supplied with your bike contains a lot of useful information: from the specific colour code, to advice on winter care, or details about key maintenance. You can download a digital version of your Maintenance and User Guide (and Spares Catalogue) from the side menu.

  11. Just had my first service done at Ducati Manchester, which is the oil one. £155 and done in two hours and a washed bike. Shame I forgot to negotiate a free first service when buying the bike. Too excited on the day, I suppose.

  12. SMC Sheffield service pack pay £299 get a voucher for £500 for servicing 1st service £160 annual £199 a lot more for the 15000 mile service-- hehe you get a new voucher each time you use it with the new value on it works out quite cheap give them a ring if you want to check up on any thing :)

  13. Yep, a little bit out. The Desmo occurs at 15k on the 11 degree motors

  14. Maybe someone can confirm my understanding of Ducati service intervals for my 2013 Multi is oil and filters at 7500 miles not yearly. So if you have 4k miles on your bike the oil and filter service is not due for another 3.5k miles. Or should oil and filters be changed yearly regardless of milage.

  15. Its the FIRST of either 7500 miles or 12 months. In other words she needs a service annually or more frequently if you achieve 7500 miles in under 12 months.

    • Thanks Thanks x 1
  16. Had mine done at Snells and was just over £400, however that was with a new pair of PR4s fitted while it was there bikes only done 4000 but as some say above it's quoted mileage or yearly regardless of minimal mileage

  17. Is that including the cost of the tyres? I bloody hope so

  18.
  19. Yes of Corse, also had the gear selector rubber changed the centre stand rubber, a bulb etc, probably paid a little over the odds with the tyres but then I didn't have to run around and wait somewhere else for them to take the wheels n tyres off, and at least I know the forks haven't been over tightened
