I'm sitting in the office with my HOPE shorts a la Guy Martin drying out on the MTB behind me ready for the Gnarly ride home later
Yes please. Take your bicycle and sod off up a mountain, then you won't be riding on pavements and foot paths. While you are up their perhaps the rest of us can petition to have you properly regulated and licenced so you can be properly tied down and buggered when you ride like a tosser..................Few !! I'm feeling better now. :Grumpy:
You pay more than me in road tax then, 2 cars and 2 bikes. Get a grip and get out and cycle, you may even enjoy it!
I ride a road bike too for training, trust me the 'regulated and licensed' road users are far more dangerous than a middle aged man in Lycra...
don't mind the cyclist's on the road it's the tossers on pavements who want me to get out the way that piss me off.
Where I work when in Bristol the train stops just behind the site. I take my life in my hands crossing into the site as the wide pavement is shared pedestrians and cyclists but each with their lane. The markings are purposefully erased on the approach to the entrance to show no one has right of way. The cyclists do not slow from whatever warp speed they have reached and are just as quick to hurl abuse should you think that as they are 30m away you might just make the four feet to the gate. I am a cyclist road and mountain bike and sometimes car drivers are just plain dangerous but cyclists on a shared path are a breed apart.
