Evening! Got reverse shift on my new bike, want to put it back to normal shift. Is it as easy as turning the part that fits on the gearbox cog round so the bar runs on the top rather then the bottom as pictured... I'm sure that's wht I done on my 749??
On a slightly different note. Never rode a reverse shift bike before.. Ergonomically it would make sense I guess. Just wanted a few thoughts on how the rest of folk get on with on the road.. Changing gear the normal way has been 2nd nature for the last 11 years, how easy would it be to change & would it be a good move that way??
Much prefer it tbh when cracking on. Pottering around makes no difference. I run reverse on track bike and road on multi...rarely goes wrong on the road and almost never on track
+1. Piece of piss to adjust to. I use it on my track bike but can switch back as and when I use a road bike.
