How to Re-Cover Ducati Seat?

  1. Has anyone had a seat re-covered?
    Any recommendations for who (in midlands) provides a good service in this respect?
    Is it cost effective rather than buying a new/2nd hand seat?

  2. I removed most of my cover so I could reduce the seat height.........So I reckon it isn't impossible to recover a seat yourself (with the right materials)...

  3. Not in the Midlands but I used Motorcycleseatworks in Bradford
    He redid my 999 seat in Alcantara and added extra padding as well. Quick turnaround too.

  7. Couple of places on eBay sell nice covers but a second hand seat sells for a lot less. I have a couple of spare if yours is rough, a gray and a black if I recall.
