I'm looking at a bike on a private sale but its quite far away and before I travel obviously doing the sensible thing and HPI checking is top of the list even before I bother going I suppose problem with that is obviously the cost at £20 (what I've found so far) it's just adding additional cost, ok it's not huge but on top of fuel and then say the bikes not great I'm looking at probably £50 all in just to hang my nose over it. It does look ok and I've asked for more pictures but its a 300 miles round trip and if I go I'm going as though I'm buying (trailer) dont suppose anybody here has access to a system do they ? Perhaps run me report on Trade rate or something and I PayPal you the money over? worth an ask I guess
Ask the seller to do one. If you don't like what you see, then leave it. He's still left with a useful document to show potential buyers.
