Maybe the Ducati Scrambler isn't so bad after all. Or are they both as bad as each other? Looks to me like something very promising was happening here - and then it all went horribly wrong. What do you think? More here: Husqvarna 401 Svartpilen Concept
Thing is, there's a tasty bike under there somewhere. I like the silver and bronze engine finish, the wavy discs, the trellis frame, the fishnet stockings swinging arm, the pukka suspension. I like the detailing of the radiator. Its neat and tidy. I quite like the headlight unit. And then someone comes along and ruins everything by dumping a piece of plastic junk from a Blake's 7 film set on top of it.
It's shit but the supermoto concept was brilliant to the point of me seriously considering one but then I thought. ....yeah it'll look totally different when it comes out.....which it did....
If anyone wants a "scrambler" - or a supermoto - why not buy a real one? If I found 7 odd grand down the back of the sofa I'd love one of these for the sheer hell of it. :Woot:
I did just reply but it disappeared....I wouldnt buy an enduro period - prefer supermotos.....this is what im talking about..... Concept..... What actually came out... which is essentially a 690smcr manufacturers always do this....get your hopes up...then fuck it up....nothing wrong with a 690smcr (I really like them) but the concept was a step in the right direction...
I had an SMR510 before I bought the 1198. great fun but after a 1/2hr monkey butt was too intense. Good laugh bike tho.
Not for me - looks thrown together plus ducati have got a thing for big round headlights....I prefer minimalistic. I like the wheels the least...they look like cheap bmx wheels.... The husky 701 concept for me was perfect - minimal and chunky.
