Need a new rear for my hyper sp and could do with some suggestions. The sticky corsa's are great but only getting around 900 mile out of one so would like something that'll last a little longer. Only fair weather use. Thanks
Metzeler M7RR. 1000 miles in on a 1200 Multistrada and I like them. Quick to warm up, good grip and confidence inspriring. Andy
You've got to try the Metzeler. Makes my bike turn in quicker and easier and all of the above. I did and I'll be going for more soon.
Ive got cheapo dunlop qualifiers on both bikes at moment. Had sportsmart 2 on before. I prefer the qualifiers. Havent had any grip woes through winter so far either. Kind of thinking that tyres are mostly psychological these days for rhe type of use i ask of them...
i'm currently about 25 miles into a set of Maxxis Super Diamonds. Great tyre so far, but no idea of mileage on the multi. Profile is really steep and turn in is so fast. Would really suit a super moto.
If it's only the back one your going change then make it match, I second Sam and Android on the M7RR, I will be testing the Rosso 3's as soon as my back sorts it's self out (another story) having looked and touched them and spoken to Pirelli I reckon the M7RR was the test bed for them, so deffinatly worth a confident try, - its super corsa tread pattern with an extra sipe between each lightning strike, and the profile is almost identical to the M7, and if you can get to the edge of the front tyre I personally wanna see you ride, its almost a wrap around tyre! If mileage is an issue and your not getting anywhere near the edge of the performance of the corsa's then Angel GT's (distance and commute forgiving but I don't know any of my customers ever complaining about the level of grip, wet or dry)
