Hello, Is there a way to "waterproof" the key antenna? I washed my bike and got an IMMO error code. Lift the key antenna nearer the key and the error light goes away. Crap design. Will a new antenna overcome this for a while? Thanks
On the 848/1098/1198 the solution to this problem was to fit washers on the ignition shroud bolts. Raising the immo antenna a couple of millimetres nearer the key/chip. Eliminates the ‘will it start’ angst after washing the bike.
