Hi! Im considering buying a Ducati hypermotard second hand with after market exhaust and power commander. The problem is that it seems like the power commander broke and owner removed it and now the engine lost power midrange...after consulting Ducati they say they need to replace ECU and it costs 12000 €!!! Does it really needs replacement or just remap? Should I just get another aftermarket? Help over this subject would be very appreciated.
Obviously don't touch that bike imho. Get a larger one such as a multistrada if you plan on doing big mileage.
