I recently bought a 2011 ducati hypermotard and absolutely love it!!! I was looking at doing an upgrade to the exhaust. I have a set of Leo Vince SBK cans on there atm and was thinking to exchange them for a set of termi's. What is your opinion? The LV's sound great, will the termi's sound better? Thanks for your time
I had a 1100s a couple of years ago with a full zard system on there. Ive now got an 1100evo with decat and twin termi end can which I think sounds deeper/better. Can't comment on what you've already got.
If you haven't done so already the 1st thing I do is lose the Cat with one of these kits Ducati Hypermotard 796 10-12 Leo Vince Stainless Steel De-Cat Pipe. It makes it sound way better (I have a Zard Penta can), a dyno tuned ECU remap does wonders for the way it'll ride too. Either of these Guy's are very highly recommended by board members, not all Ducati tuners are able to remap the Siemens ECU on the 796 CJS RACING Ducati Cylinder Heads Tuning Gas Flow Dyno ECU Custom Mapping Bristol Bath BSD Performance – The home of motorcycle performance tuning
ive got leo vince decat pipe and sc end can then mapped by cjs sounds amazing and goes like stink now!!
I've gota 796 with a pair of termis minus baffles... Race ecu and filter plus Leo Vince de cat... So it's as good as a straight through system... Goes a lot better and sounds mind popping...
Has anyone thought about "coring" their standard cans - I was going to core the standard ones I had just for the hell of it. Apparently theres no difference in sound.
Noods, Have you got a video/ sound of your exhaust system? alonso92, I will keep you updated if i decide to sell my Leo Vince SBK if your interested in them?
just fitted LV decat still waiting for shop to shorten my standard cans by 2". how much is a tuned ecu with CJS is it 500? can't get my head around paying that . Has anyone used one of those memjet things? Speedycom Performance Ltd... I know they're nowhere near as good but it's only a 796 never going to get loads of power just don't want it too lean.
