Hey guys, Ive got a Hypermotard 796 and recently got a full GPR system to get that twin sound and would like it to run better as it has no cats. The description on their website says: "SC- Project AFM unit acts on motorbike existing series sensors and changes outgoing values, keeping the original motorbike electronics and adapts it to the configuration with a more performing new exhaust system. This added unit changes the parameters related to temperature- air sensors, so that the motorbike original electronics changes carburetion with injection time and advance which are different from the original and guarantee a high performance improvement related to power and couple : it re-establishes the stechiometric value air – fuel to optimal value for the new configuration with more performing exhaust system." I know there are pc3/pc5 options but after buying the exhaust system and wanting to get a sportsbike next to go alongside the hyper, leads me to consider the SC Project fuel module route. Anyone had one of heard if theyre any good? Edit: Fom a long time lurker
Hello! Believe it or not they do actually work. I don't fully understand all the dynamics behind it all but my AFM unit worked really well on my previous EVO SP, which used to run like a bucking bronco horse at low revs. In fact I still have the unit, and from the looks of it they appear to have not changed much over the years (please correct me if I'm wrong on that!!). Apart from the front sticker lol So if you decide you want one let me know and I'll sell you mine. Btw, I haven't posted a response just to palm my unit off on to you, just trying to help by giving my opinion! It'll be interesting to hear from the others and their experiences. Cheers, Paul
