Hi - ive started a new thread regarding a tail tidy ive designed. It'll be half the price of the next cheapest one - 40 quid (I have to sell quite a few to recoup the design costs!) - really sorry about my one and only pic at the moment as its a little blurred....this is one is going to be changed (went to have a look last night) - heres the pic... Its fabricated out of 1.6mm alloy (so its soft and easy to drill). Looks like im going to leave the mounting holes blank. The fabricator says that the original mounting holes are about 3mm out of line so cant guarantee that they will fit every bike, plus some aftermarket pipes have different mounting holes altogether. The indicator mounts will be scaled down and moved closer to the back of the plate to give a more compact look. You cant really see there but the number plate light will move up about 3/4" to sit more inbetween the two pipes therefore the plate will move up the same amount. Hoping to see the revised one in a couple of days time.... Comments please! (apart from the quality of the photo) If anyone has got any ideas on design changes let me know...
Yeah yeah yeah...I know....I took the photo with my phone and then must have moved at the last second....its the only one I've got at the moment but gives you an idea....
Really is hard to tell. Maybe the indicator tabs could be L brackets so width adjustable or can be taken off altogether.
Well, I did think that but I was going for universal - that's why ive kept the mounts behind the plate and if I did remove them and you needed/wanted to put indicators back on then you couldn't - as I say theyre being reduced in size and brought closer to the back of the plate.
