Hypermpotard - Termignoni Slip On Can Question

Discussion in 'Newbies Hangout' started by Crazytown, Jul 3, 2017.

  1. Hi. First post on the forum.
I am considering buying a new 939 Hypermotard in Thailand, have a question about the Termignoni Titanium can 96480051B.
Does the bike require a remap with just this can changed for the standard can?
Is the the stock ECU mapping OK with this can? I will probably be removing the DB killer.
The Ducati dealer is offering this can as an extra (about 1200 quid more).
    Any comments are appreciated.
    Cheers

  4. As it is an homologated exhaust it may not require a remap.

  5. Thanks Chris.

  6. It may not need a remap but a remap done on a Dyno can make a big difference , we noticed the difference on the 796 hypermotard with twin Termis that had the racing ECU fitted , we had it flashed and the difference was noticeably better

  7. Thanks very much for your advice.

  8. Welcome mate, love the 939 hyper. Cool bike

  9. Thanks.
Kind of stuck between an MT-10 and the Hyper.
Never owned a Ducati, so I think I will be going for my first Ducati.
Noticed the front fork isn't adjustable though.

  10. 939 Hypermotard purchased.
    Collect it next week.
    Bike is in Thailand.
