Well gents I did it... I went and bought a 2004 ST4S on a whim... A clean single owner bike showed up for sale on craigslist close to me and I met with the guy and ended up with the bike. Its a non-abs model. US spec but it was sold through a Ducati Dealer in Cadiz Spain to one of our armed forces members. purchased new in 04 with all original paperwork and manuals, even had the hard bags and all the carbon bits, with a Silmoto carbon exhaust. she's yellow, and she's sharing the garage with two Pikes Peak Multi's and a 1098s. Im taking it to a certified Ducati mechanic this weekend to have it completely and thoroughly serviced and sorted and have fresh rubber installed.
Good choice. I did similar with an ST4 a couple of years back. No regrets. Fabulous underrated bikes. Smiles per pound its hard to beat!
Im loading it on a trailer today to take it to the Mech. Ill snap a few pictures then. Ive moved all my bikes to offsite storage as I've outgrown the garage. Working on getting quotes for a bigger building outback.
Nice , Tell you what Dennis, get rid of those pushbikes and the other stuff and there is room in there for another motorcycle !
