I Got One.... But Need Insurance Asap

Discussion in 'Ducati General Discussion' started by RC1, Jul 16, 2016.

  1. so after some frantic weeks ive finally landed a 748...but its the wrong colour

ive not been insured on a bike for ages and need to get a policy in force asap

ive got a quote through bennetts but need more so apart from carole nash who else should i be using

ill need about 500 miles per year and the bike will be garaged and wondering if theres such a thing as agreed valuation?

it used to have a datatool system 3 but its been removed. for insurance purposes shall i a get a new alarm installed. does it make a diff to the premium?

  2. Comparethemarket.com should throw up a few good quotes. Ducati insurance always seem to be near the mark too.

  3. ok thanks

  4. I usually use MCN compare - with zero no claims you need to shop around.

  5. Thebikeinsurer probably come up with MCE

  6. I've saved a load recently going through Ducati Insurance, definitely give them a try.

    Good luck.

  7. ok thanks

so far bennetts have been bad and RAC comes up trumps through a couple of price comparison engine

    not tried carole nash yet

  8. just tried ducati RAC still trumps

  9. RAC still trumps after carole nash

  10. so looking at about 423 inc legal expenses and breakdown and 450 combined excess (100 voluntary)

top cashback offers 25 quid cashback also with rac so about 400 all in

  11. Ducati insurance for me - £490 FC for a 1198, M900, 851 and a ZZR1100. Seems fair ro me...
