  1. Got up to £16,365.66 without trying too hard (and not doing anything with the exhaust - no Termi :confounded:)
The Supersport S is cheaper but....

  3. Evotech for rad and oil cooler screens, half the price and as good, if not better, than the Ducati items.

  4. I must admit to not looking at prices - just, I'll have that and that and that.... All theoretical as a) I haven't got a driving license and no likelihood of getting one in the foreseeable future and b) no spare cash. It's worth me looking as I will have the money but dunno wots happening about my driving license.

I would get the touring package, definitely and that is relevant when I compare bikes (although price is not an overriding factor, the main rival is the Guzzi V85 TT Travel that dies have panniers). As I intend to do much touring then panniers would be a must have.

Although I am not even sure that I will buy a bike. There is the driving license issue but I have an ST2 and an ST3 that I can tour on if I got them back on the road. If I was to buy another bike then I would part ex one and so I would have to get them on the road first, anyway.

When I had to order the extras, I would have a good look for aftermarket stuff. Evotech stuff may make more sense. I've got reasonable workshop facilities and tools and so there is no reason (and it is part of the fun) why I can't buy and fit extras myself.

  5. Just looked at my list again. Carbon side covers for the air conveyors (whatever the fook they are!) £623.28!!! Yes, I was going a bit mad - £623 for something that I don't even know WTF is!!!!

  6. Oh, and the big screen is probably a "must have", but it will be still be worth looking at alternatives because someone probably does them.

Looking it again the next day, I still go by my choice of a Multi 950s over the Supersport - although I would still ask for test rides on both to compare.

  7. More sensible (but less fun!)

  8. And I can save even more! I thought that I would need a new crash helmet but according to some thinking here, I don't need to get one! Just wait for a hot day and have a really good sweat into it, bounce it on the carpet a few times, replace the cracked chin vent and it will be as good as new! That's saved me a few hundred! I learn so much here...
