Hi everyone! I'm so impressed with my 1098 I wanted to make a tribute to Ducati, so I ripped away the music from their Born to Race video for the Panigale R and replaced it with my own sounds. Let me know what you think!
I spent about 8 hours on this, and it wasn't until I was about halfway through making it that I realised I needed punchier drums in the second half From that bass pitch bend down it kicks off I wanted to try to balance power with finesse
Do you watch Sense8 it reminds me of the opening credits My eyes were going everywhere with the quick change Feel a bit car sick now :Vomit::Kiss:
Lol I deliberately misled. I'm sorry (not sorry ). Never seen Sense 8 Ducbird! I don't watch much on TV. I was going to edit the film because it is really choppy - but I figured if I was doing this 'for real' I'd have to work with what I was given
very good, even though I am not qualified to make a professional assessment. I did comment in your "newbie thread". The timing with the transitions in the video if that is the correct word is very good. I have applied similar music to video - although I had to cut and crop it to make it fit because I am not able to make to music like that.
Yeah that bass bend is killer! Am with the others I'm afraid - that avatar led me in vain - I feel robbed :Arghh:
Why, I don't know what you mean. I'm innocence incarnate :Shamefullyembarrased: Ta For the timings, I kinda went the long way around. I don't have proper video software so I wrote down the time of each cut and worked out an average BPM that would hit most of them - 33 in 25 seconds
Well that's a bit complex for me:Shamefullyembarrased: I use video editing soft ware as you stated. Drop it on to the time line, and chop it about, having to pick a point in a tune where it can be re joined. I sometimes have to repeat sections or add other tunes in - all very crude. I am not a musician or video editor but like to put things together for memories sake.
Yeah I still think the post bass bend part could be heavier still, a bit more full on Prodigy stylee. Maybe some steel hammer type drum/percussion sounds in the same vein as the Storm Drum and similar libraries. Earthquake power type stuff. But hey - it's such a personal thing. Does my bum look big in this?
Hmm, I know what you mean... I might try making another one. There's a Lamborghini Aventador video I'd like to redo the sound for as well...
It's on netflix If the boys want a bit of action they may want to check it out The timing is slightly out at the beginning the picture is a slightly slower than the beat Overall good effort
