:Bag: For some reason I am thinking of getting a road bike. After nearly 10 years of track or race bikes (600ss, 620ssie, gixer6, 748, 853 and 1198) a fun little tootle bike is appealing. What in the way of performace parts are available for them? fork kits, shocks exhaust systems etc? Is the full throttle a decent basis for a pepped up road scoot?
I find my bike just fine. Maybe I'm the right weight and height for a scrambler, who knows. What I do know is there are loads of mods/parts now on the market specifically for the scrambler including different exhausts, forks, shocks, seats etc. Some of it is snake oil but if it makes people feel better then who am I to say anything .
I have it in mind that it one would be like a civilised supermoto. I ran a husky 610 as a fun bike for a couple of years on the road so see a scrambler as a more restrained option.
