I currently ride a scrambler800 But done a deal for the new 1100cc surpose to have got it 2 weeks ago.yet the dealer is telling me he's know idea where it is.i find it hard to believe that I can track a parcel from America yet they can't track a 11k bike. Is this normal for what surpose to be a premium brand.
Change dealers - Riders in Cardiff have 2 sat in the showroom... so I am sure there are plenty of other dealers with them too. If he cant find yours - ask your dealer to get one from somewhere else.. Did you get the £500 discount voucher and the discounted accessories when you ordered? Had to be done by 29th June? If not - then also concider swapping dealers and deals - because they just announced 0% finance on Purchase and 3% on PCP..
It's currently too hot for bikes imho. I always prefer spring and autumn for riding bikes. Mind you my pani is like sitting astride a lava bomb when temps get close to 30°C.
That's the thing I got the £500 trade up offer but if I now cancel the order with that dealer I'm not going to get it now with another dealer
Which dealer is it? I know I saw one at Woods in Abergele but it might have been their demonstrator rather than a brand spanker in stock
Work with the dealer and say tell me what you do know, and I'll take up the rest with Ducati U.K. Should the delay happen? no, does it happen, probably more than we'd care to admit.
Woods wouldn't give me a good price for my 800 I could have had one 4 weeks ago but decided to stay local.manchester
Yes just find it hard to believe they can't track it.to say they don't what's happened to it is mind boggling
Try speaking with Sergio if he still works there - he might get some more joy from the Italian side as he speaka the lingo etc
My understanding is the dealer gets notification when the bike is being released from the factory then you need to allow 14 days to arrive at the dealership it's worked for me with the new Ducatis I've bought
if you've reached a dead-end with him, nice though he is, it's a phone call to Ducati UK/Italy surely? do you have a VIN number/build number etc? (never bought a new bike, had lots to do with the procedure from the seller's point of view in the past)
