Righto, Rolled the old girl out of the garage today, started her up just cos I could (998s). Petrol light was on so rode to the garage (half a mile or so). Wasn't wearing ear plugs and could hear what I can only describe as a 'whooping' noise from the front of the bike. I had heard this when I started her up, but thought it was something to do with the low fuel. Anyway, coming from petrol station noise seemed to get a little louder, like air being sucked in or something. Am I insane?
I shall take a look, cheers. To think, I almost decided to sell the old girl, shame on me. She was beautiful in the sunshine. May I hang my head in shame.
