Been looking at getting one of his books on the 748/916 etc and found this, Are they that good to warrant the price, Ducati 916 by Ian Falloon
Usually you can go on Amazon and find books much cheaper than the silly Ebay asking prices... Erm, what happened here :Arghh: Amazon.co.uk: Buying Choices: Ducati 916 (Haynes Great Bikes)
Blimey. I thought that as the one I had upstairs gathering dust but think it may be the 4 valve book covering the 916 etc. Shame!
Nah that's got to be a joke. I've got a couple of Falloons books, a Haynes one that has 25GBP on the back cover and the other book has 45GPB Craig
I think they are out of issue, probably only one run and rare - but I can't see people paying such a high price. He could always do another print run and scupper your outlay / investment.
It was originally £17.99 and now not available, Barnes and Noble want $1776.31 for a copy in the US!!!!!!!!!!! Clearly a case of jacking up the price due to rarity etc. and as mentioned only a reprint would possibly see the price come down it seems
Anyone want to buy my copy? Or swap for their Panigale? Or I also have this one that is available. P/ex for your 916SPS? Ducati Desmoquattro Performance Handbook (Motorbooks Workshop) First edition by Falloon, Ian (2003) Paperback: Amazon.co.uk: Books
Looks like i won't be getting the book then, It would be cheaper to get a signed photo of Rossi and still have change to watch a GP. £17.99 and now $1776 thats fecking mad, Mr Falloon if you read this can you do a reprint for me thanks,
I could ask him if you wish I have Ian's email from ewhen he supported my investigations I can ask him if you like
We have some positive news but I am now drunk so cannot be arsed to tell you and it's a secret :Finger: PM me and I might tell all  via an email :Muted: It's being re released maybe
