My two daughters took me to the Ace for a fathers day treat ... nice. As we arrived a gorgeous 996 was parked near the entrance. I took the chance to explain to them. "Ah tis is the Ducati that my 999 replaced - some say it's better looking than mine - what do you think?" Daughters (In Unison): "Yep it's a lot better looking" Equation: 916 - 996 etc = Jonny Depp (Pretty boy) 749 / 999 = Benedict Cumberpatch (Odd looking but the better bike / Odd looking but the better actor)
as i have a 996 prob not the best opinion, but always loved the 916 style, love my 996, lucky enough to be able to have most bikes i fancy and have 4, but my 996 my fav , the looks , the character, the sound, the ride, just really does it for me, riding it = big grins
