My bike is beginning to run a little rough so I am planning on changing the spark plugs, perhaps to iridium. While I am it I am thinking of upgrading the ignition coils. However, in searching the internet I did not find any aftermarket coils available. Are my googling skills that bad or is there really no other alternative except OEM for the coils?
848 runs coil sticks, directly on to the plug. Not aware of any upgrades as they're pretty good at what they do. No losses thru leads etc. They're direct to the plug cap
I did check that but unfortunately there is no availability for the 848, only older bikes. Very surprised there are no upgrades available or even aftermarket replacements. I guess I need to get ready to pay OEM prices. Ahhhh...the price of Ducati privilege.
No real need to upgrade. Spark is good and strong. Same plug and coil in the 1198's and good to 180hp or so. There maybe aftermarket copies, but I've not seen/used any tbh.
