Hi guys, Im on the market for a bike (hearts set on a 749) But with commutes to work and riding holidays planned I'm slightly worried about servicing costs...... What are people's experience of using their 749s regularly ?, are they constantly having money thrown at them ? Cheers Kris
Same as with any bike really, as long as you keep on top of the servicing and upkeep... I've found my 999S to be just as reliable as any other bike I've owned, although I wouldn't recommend riding through the winter with the salted roads here in the UK...it would cosmetically kill it!
Same, commuted on my 06 749 since new. Only now does it need a few parts replacing, 30k miles later. Makes the commute a fun ride that just so happens to have my work at the end of it.
