Hi All, Well after parting ways with the Panigale and spending the last 16 months with an Aprilia RSV4 i will soon be the owner of a Multistrada S touring. I am really looking forward to this, the test ride was good enough to sway me away from the sportsbikes ive always had. I just need a bike a bit more versatile and definitely something i can tour on. Looking forward to catching up with everything.
Welcome back. Cant tour on a sportsbike? The wife and I used to do Europe on an 851. Mind you her arse hasn`t been the same since.
Ive toured on all my sportsbikes, i even went to Croatia on the Panigale. just time for something a tad more comfortable.
Hi KF, I'm sure you'll enjoy the Mutley Look forward to seeing you in the Multistrada section of the forum......put yourself on the map: Multistrada Owners Maps ;-) ....and enter your bike details in your Profile Facebook: http://www.facebook.com/UK.MTS1200.Owners
I must confess as much as I like my rsv4 I do look at other bikes but having the rsv4 gives me the best of both worlds.....love a1098 streetfighter. Rsv is the first faired bike I've had in 20 years of bikes....new z1000s are nice too...
Hi mate, what's the panigale like compared to the RSV4? I've got the RSV4 and have only done a few hundered miles on it as I lost 4 1/2 months waiting for the cooling manifold on recall so I lost all of the summer. Did you have any issues with yours and what dealer did you use as my local one in Port Talbot is a pile of crap! I haven't been on the Multi yet but my mates got one and loves it, I'm going to try his and if I like it which I reckon I will I'll get one. I'm getting a little worried with the S model and it's issues though reading the posts on here, but that's the one I like but I am buying second had with a budget of around 10k, if I need more then it means more overtime and a longer wait..if I can get out of buying the missus a ring first!!!
