I'm about to move to the UK and will be shipping my 2012 848. I am looking into the mods to make sure the King will be happy. When I first bought my bike, I didn't think ahead that I might move to the UK. I tossed the rear fender and tail lights in favor of integrated lights and a tiny number plate barely visible under the tail. I am having a hard time finding a used stock fender/tail light set up here in the states. Can anyone recommend an aftermarket set up that would pass your MOT? Also, are there any issues with Termignoni slip ons passing MOT? Those are the only two mods on the bike. Thank you!
Your be ok with the slip ons but you will need a bigger number plate and the indicators must be 180mm spaced at the rear. Or the other option is to tape up all your lights at the time of test so they can't be tested.
